Halohana is not your ordinary shave ice - it’s a story of family, love, and connection. Halohana was created to bring the sunny flavors of Hawaiian shave ice together with the familiar sweetness of Filipino desserts I grew up with.

The name Halohana combines the Hawaiian word for "Ohana" meaning family and community with Halo-Halo, the Filipino treat that means “mix-mix.” Together, these words represent the idea of a “mixed family” - a symbol of diversity, connection, and shared love. Inspired by my journey as a foster parent for the past seven years, Halohana celebrates the beauty of bringing people together. With every bite, we hope you taste not just dessert, but the spirit of family, belonging, and community.
